FOUNDING DESKS: the first 15 desks that close a fixture on LaycanDesk in their first six months keep 50% off for life — Desk at $500/seat — plus a weekly feedback call. No sanctioned origin, destination or transhipment, on any plan.
What counts as a seat?
A named login. Brokers, ops and trainees all count the same. Shared inboxes are ingested per org, not per seat.
Is there a free tier?
No. The live demo on this site shows the real pipeline on anonymised examples, so you can judge it before paying.
What does the founding-desk offer commit us to?
Two things. A 20-minute feedback call each week for the first three months, and at least one fixture closed on the desk within the first six months. You pay the 50% founding rate from day one; the first closed fixture confirms it for as long as the desk stays a customer without interruption. If no fixture closes in six months the seat renews at the standard rate. Founding is limited to 15 desks, counted by confirmed fixture, not by signup.
What cargo can we not work on LaycanDesk?
Anything touching a sanctioned party, vessel, origin, destination or transhipment route under UN, US, EU, UK or Swiss law, and any vessel the desk's screening flags as shadow-fleet (undisclosed owner, flag-hopping, no IMO). Every signup attests to this, the terms make it a condition of access, and we end access without refund for a breach. It applies to founding desks the same as everyone else. Our own origin gate is published: producer, inbound ship and shipper of record before a single owner is approached.
Where is our data held?
In the EU (Zurich). Every tenant table is isolated at the database layer. Nothing you forward is pooled or shown to another desk. See the privacy page for the sub-processor list.
Can we pay monthly?
Desk and Operator are billed annually. If that is a blocker, say so on the contact form and we will talk.
